San Ya

People in San Ya from more than 20 nationalities, including Han, Li, and Miao, inhabit the city. There are altogether more than 400,000 people registered for permanent residence.

However, for most visitors, San ya is a very famous tourist resort. The favorable climate is hot in summer but warm in other seasons, so it attracts a large number of followers from both home and abroad every year. All of the destinations of San Ya are linked to water, hence it attains its reputation as being the ‘ oriental Hawaii’.

Tianya Haijiao (edge of the sky, rim of the sea) , which is 24

kilometers (about 15 miles) away from the downtown center, just as its name means that it will take you to the end of the heaven and earth. Ancient history recalls a beautiful love story than relates to this particular beauty spot. It is enhanced by a blue sky and pure , clear sea water, so every year some weddings are held here.
